There are 576 homes for sale in Livermore as of Wed at 9:53 PM PDT.
Inventory is up, usually a normal pattern for this time of year. However, for Livermore Real Estate this is the highest number of homes for sale I have seen in a very very long time.
This tells us many things, but the most important thing I want my readers to realize is that it is a buyer's market, and not a good time to sell!!!! Let me repeat that, it is not a good time to sell!!!
With prices dropping and inventory going up, now is not the time to bail out of the Livermore real estate market. Patience will win and will let you prosper, impatience won't.
This inventory surge also tells us prices most likely will drop even more, something I didn't think would happen in Livermore this year. This will continue until we hit the winter months, at which time people will start to pull their houses off the market and inventory will go down.
The only relevant fact I should add is that there are more houses in Livermore then ever before because of the new construction that has happened, and the rise in population over the last five years. I still think there is enough info to warrant more price drops in Livermore.

Any idea when this trend will stop, I have loss a lot of money on my Livermore home? You seem to be a very honest Livermore realtor.

You haven't loss money until you sell it, think of your house like a CD with a 5-10 year maturity date. No idea when it will stop, everytime someone guesses their wrong.....
