Lets look outside Livermore real estate
Lets look outside Livermore real estate.
Mixed news from the housing front, in the form of new construction Housing Starts bouncing higher, yet new Building Permits moving lower. Existing Home Sales rose somewhat unexpectedly in February, marking the largest monthly gain since March 2004 and the highest pace of sales was the highest since April of 2006. Overall, not bad reports, considering how the media still wearily beats away on their housing bubble drum. But it wasn't all great news - overall sales are off 3% from last year, the inventory of existing homes on the market rose slightly to a 6.7 month supply, and the median price of a home declined slightly to $212,800. Many experts feel it is likely the housing market saw its worst days during August of last year, but although stabilizing, the housing market still has a ways to go.

Being a Livermore Realtor are you noticing a lot of people leaving the market as far as agents are concerned? Is Livermore real estate hotter then others in the Tri-Valley?

I just saw the list of award recipients from the Bay Easy Assocaiteion of Realtors. Congrats on your Grand Master Status. Being a Livermore realtor do you anticipate less competition in the coimg year as more Livermore realtros leave the business and even more become less successful then previous years. I noticed you have been a Livermore Realtor for five years and you have been a Grand Master for four of them. How are you able to keep winning year after year even in a declining market. you probably figured out that I am a Livermore Realtor as well. I appreciate any input.

Patti & Tim,
Patti you need to work on your spelling lol. Anyway, I feel that being aggressive and confident in your product paves the way for continued success. Livermore is a tough place for Realtors, especially the stay at home types. It is very important to practice 24-7 in order to stay on top. This is my full-time job not a hobby, I take it very serious and to remain on top in difficult times, means your clients trust you even in bad times. Livermore realtors are a tight knit group that is tough to pierce in this community. Not so much of the click type membership but the old school residents. Because the Livermore area has the highest number of higher educated population per capita in the nation, it is important that your clients and potential clients know that you have the background and education to back up what you say.
