Inventory is up in Livermore, Real Estate stays level

I found out this week that I currently have the most listings in Livermore, this seems to be a good thing considering I am sitting on about 12 at the moment, right? This is a true sign that inventory is creeping up, not so good news for seller's. With more houses coming on the market and demand staying flat, we could see possible additional price drops. I believe the sub-prime lenders have caused this and its going to take a few months to stabilize, we are sitting in a time where consumers are sitting around wondering what is going to happen next. Livermore can expect to be in a market that is very slow and the best priced houses will move, period. As a Livermore resident I can assure you this wont last, we are simply in a more normal real estate market.

Hi there,
I currently live in Tracy and I notice that the Livermore Real Estate market has managed to stay afloat compared to ours. I want to use you as my Realtor, however, I don't think I can sell my house for what I need in order to pay off my loan. I am thinking of buying a home and renting mine out. Do you see the Livermore market picking up any time soon?

Good move by having a office next to Trader Joes, did you know they were coming before you made your lease for that office? Great Livermore location, it almost doesn't seem fair to the other Realtors in Livermore. I gues you must know people in the right places. Livermore needs more inside guys like you. If I wasnt a Realtor I would hire you....

Thanks for the comments. What I really see is the tax season coming to an end and then we have the highest chance of the Livermore real estate market picking up for a few months.....

I just noticed your last post, the fact that you put the last post up makes me happy. Too many realtors are so afraid what people might think. It is reasonable to say that is not the case for you. I am iejoying your Livermore real estate posts and I think your a pretty down to earth realtor, thanks for the Blogs in Livermore.
